With a passion for helping others that is as big as her smile, Blessing Ogunyemi is one of Robbinsdale Area Schools’ remarkable students. The 2015 Cooper High School grad headed to Johns Hopkins University this fall with hopes of exploring the public health field.

This hospital volunteer has always had a passion for helping people. As a Link Crew member, she assists new freshmen navigate their way through a new high school environment.

Blessing credits some of her success to resources at Cooper, like College Possible, which helped her get ready for the ACTs and for applying to colleges, and the International Baccalaureate program, which prepared her for college through advanced coursework.

“I’ve had a really great experience here,” she says. “The district has been great in supporting students when they need it. The teachers and staff members are so nice – if you need help with anything, they’ll help you.”

At Robbinsdale Area Schools, we invite all students to make their mark. Just like Blessing. We are Robbinsdale Remarkable. #RASRemarkable
