Cooper Principal Named Executive Director of Student Services and Secondary SchoolsMichael Favor, Principal of Robbinsdale Cooper High School, has been named the district's Executive Director of Student Services and Secondary Schools, a newly formed position in the district. He will begin those duties on July 1, 2013.
Mr. Favor has twelve years of administrative experience and educational leadership, and has been in Robbinsdale Area Schools since 2007. He received a bachelor's degree in Science from North Dakota State University; a Masters Degree in Urban Education from Hamline University; a Sixth Year Licensure and Certification from St. Cloud State University; a Superintendent Licensure from St. Cloud State University; and he is currently pursuing his Doctorate of Education from St. Cloud State University as well.
The district has begun the search for a new principal for Cooper High School, and will have one in place before the end of the year. Mr. Favor intends to work with the new principal ensuring a smooth transition. He will continue to work with Cooper closely in his new position, as well as the other secondary schools and programs throughout the district.
