Robbinsdale Area Schools Conducts Student Survey

Robbinsdale Area Schools will conduct a student opinion survey with students in grades 4-12 between February 19 and March 8.  Each school will choose a date and time during this time frame.

The survey focuses on goals set by the school board and will take approximately 15 minutes during the school day.  The purpose of this survey is to gain the students' perspective on a number of items, including a sense of belonging, teacher expectations, diversity, safety, and fair discipline.  The results will be one item used by the district in determining the effectiveness of district programs.  While the results of the survey are public, individual students are not identifiable.

This survey is separate from the voluntary survey that is being conducted by the state of Minnesota to students in grades 5, 8, 9 and 11.  That survey is conducted in schools across the state of MInnesota every three years.  A notice went home with an option to opt out of the survey before it was or will be conducted.
