Course Audits

The AP Course Audit was started in 2007-08 to ensure the integrity of AP courses.  Every teacher of an AP course must submit a syllabus and course audit form, signed by their school's principal, ensuring that the course meets AP curricular and resource requirements.  The syllabus is reviewed by an external college faculty reviewer.  All AP courses at Armstrong have been approved and are officially recognized in the College Board's AP Course Ledger.
The benefits of the AP Audit include:
  • Providing teachers and administrators with clear guidelines on the curricular and resource requirements for AP courses
  • Helping colleges and universities better interpret secondary school courses designated as AP on students' transcripts
