LICENSE RENEWAL FOR SUBSTITUTES AND COMMUNITY MEMBERS
Substitutes and community members who wish to keep their teaching licenses current should renew their licenses through the school district in which they reside. If you live in the Robbinsdale School District, we will be happy to assist you with the license renewal process. The procedures for license renewal can be found in the documents below. Please note that if you have taught in a classroom within the five years prior to your renewal year, you will need to complete a reflective statement.
The following licenses are exempt from the literacy and reflective statement requirements: counselors, social workers, psychologists, and nurses.
If you wish to renew your license through Robbinsdale Schools, please note that the Continuing Education Committee meets for the last time in mid-May and does not meet during the summer. All renewal materials must be in before the May meeting. You will want to begin the process shortly after the first of the year of your license renewal date.
