Kindergarten Enrollment Information

Your child has been learning since birth and the family has been influential by providing encouragement, support and involvement. Kindergarten is a time to foster and grow that love of learning through exploration of new interests in the world and by building knowledge and skills. Kindergarten is an important milestone for lifelong learning. At Robbinsdale Area Schools, we believe that every student is unique, and we are committed to focusing on each individual student's potential for academic excellence.   Our exceptional kindergarten teachers have a genuine love of learning and a commitment to the gifts of young learners. They help spark imagination, and inspire passion to ask questions, discover the world, create beauty, and excel. Working with you as their partner, they will guide your child along a lifelong journey of learning.

Each of our eight diverse elementary schools and three magnet schools will prepare your kindergartner for success during the rest of school and in life.
The Let's Get Ready for Kindergarten Family Guide has lots of information about academic stands, school contact information, registration timelines, early childhood resources, and more. English (PDF)
