State Required Assessment
Parents/guardians have a right to not have their student participate in state-required standardized assessments. Minnesota Statutes require the department to provide information about statewide assessments to parents/ guardians and include a form to complete if they refuse to have their student participate.

2022-23 District Testing Calendar
Information can be viewed below on the various state assessments, along with testing window dates, subject, grade level and estimated assessment time. You can also download a PDF of the testing calendar.
The following standardized assessments are designed for in-person administration. These tests will only be administered if the learning model includes in-person instructional days on which the tests can be administered. Testing dates will be adjusted as needed, based on changes to the instructional delivery model.
