Kindergarten Information Nights Start January 18!

Kindergarten Information Nights Are On February 8!
Posted on 01/11/2018
Robbinsdale Area Schools is pleased to offer tuition-free, full-day kindergarten to all students. Every family is assigned to one of eight ”attendance area” schools, based on their home address. There are also three “magnet” schools which draw students from across the district, regardless of families’ attendance area. Magnet school students are selected through a lottery system. All eleven schools are held to the same Minnesota Department of Education standards for kindergarten and are in step with the district’s K-Grade 3 curriculum alignment.

Through the unique strengths of its own staff and programs, every school strives to successfully meet the needs of its school community. Refer to the timeline and list of elementary schools in this guide for important information on all eleven schools. To learn more about your attendance area school and magnet school options, go to that individual school’s website or contact the school office with your questions. The magnet schools are FAIR at Pilgrim Lane for K-3rd Grade (and FAIR at Crystal for grades 4-8), RSIS and SEA. More information on magnet school lotteries can be found here:
