Ms. Roe began her career with Robbinsdale Area Schools in 1969, at Robbinsdale High School. She taught English and gifted education in both secondary and elementary schools for more than thirty years.

“My dream has been to give something back to the district’s children for their constant inspiration through the years,” said Ms. Roe.

The Key of Idelisia is the first in a trilogy, written for children ages 8 - 12, and features a pre-teen girl who confronts daunting obstacles as she searches for her lost father. During her epic journey, she learns to trust true friends and gradually realizes the hidden power she possesses.

Ms. Roe plans to visit several 5th Grade classes in March to share her book with students throughout Robbinsdale Area Schools.
