Relicensure
Robbinsdale Relicensure Committee
The purpose of the Robbinsdale Relicensure Committee is to manage the record keeping and reporting required for staff and community members to hold licenses in good standing with the state of Minnesota. An easy way for you to check your license expiration is through the license lookup.
The Robbinsdale Relicensure Committee is made up of a diverse group of educators. We meet five times a year. On those days, we work on your behalf to manage and approve CEUs. We communicate regarding important changes and field relicensure questions. In the fall of the year before your license is set to renew, we communicate regarding the steps that you need to follow. We then report to PELSB (the state licensing board) when individuals are ready to renew.
We also support tracking CEUs and relicensure for those individuals who are former employees, substitutes, or community members. We are happy to assist you with the license renewal process.
Please note that the Relicensure Committee meets for the last time in mid-May and does not meet during the summer. All renewal materials must be in before the May meeting.

As an educator, it is important that your license(s) remain in good standing with the state of Minnesota. It is your responsibility to know to maintain an active license. During your year of renewal, you have a six month window to complete your requirements and pay to renew your license with PELSB (the state licensing board).
Educators can begin the process to renew a license the November before the year their license expires. Educators need to meet all applicable renewal requirements before beginning the license renewal process.
