Website mock upDecember 4, 2019:
Robbinsdale Area Schools is excited to announce Finalsite has been selected as its new website provider. New school websites, along with a district website, will be unveiled this spring and summer.

September 26, 2019:
During this school year, Robbinsdale Area Schools will be redesigning our district and school websites. Our current system is out of date, no longer adequately supported and does not meet Universal Design standards which makes websites accessible to all users. We frequently receive feedback from families (and staff) that information is hard to find (and to update).

We are asking for feedback on our current website during this phase of the process -- please click here to take a brief survey. Your thoughts and opinions are greatly appreciated as we work to build a better user experience.

In the future, our site will be mobile-responsive, ADA compliant and more user-friendly. Our initial goals are:
  • Allow families to more easily stay more informed and be involved in our schools.
  • We will design a more user-friendly and consistent navigation structure for a better user experience.

Each school will have its own look and information, while maintaining our district brand.
  • We will leverage automated tools and best practices to reduce staff time required to post and keep pages current.
  • The site will reflect the important student learning going on in our schools and attract families who know they have many choices for their child's education.
  • An enterprise content management system will allow common information to be posted once and shared across many pages, to ensure consistent and accurate information across school sites and eliminate redundant work.

  • We are excited about the possibilities this new website platform will provide! A steering committee of district communications staff, technology staff and other key stakeholders will begin meeting in late September. We will begin the design, build and content migration phases during this school year, with plans to launch next summer. Stay tuned!
