Buildings & Grounds
Buildings & Grounds provides daily support to operate all buildings and facilities as well as making the physical environment comfortable for students, staff, families and the community. Buildings & Grounds maintains building systems and structures; services the grounds; provides custodial services; oversees construction and renovation projects; maintains compliance with building codes, fire codes, safety and environmental regulations; and oversees security and fire alarm systems in all buildings.
As a resident of the Robbinsdale Area School District, we are keeping our lights on for you. In addition to the critical job of preparing our students for a successful future, we strongly believe that schools are a vital resource for everyone in our school community, young and old alike. That is why the Community Enrichment and Engagement division of Robbinsdale Area Schools schedules and supervises the use of district buildings before and after school and on weekends. Non-residents are also welcome to rent district facilities. Click the link above to learn more.
Indoor Air Quality
To report an indoor air quality concern (temperature, humidity, odor, mold, dust for example) please detail the building condition(s) and symptoms relating to your/your student’s health in writing to the building principal or building manager. Your concern will be forwarded to the building custodian who will perform a detailed investigation, troubleshoot the source and recommendations for a solution. If the problem is not able to be solved, the Buildings & Grounds Department or a vendor will be contracted.
