In accordance with the Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA), Robbinsdale Area Schools is required to annually notify parents, guardians, teachers, and employee organizations of the presence and management of asbestos-containing materials in our school buildings.
Asbestos Management Plan Availability
An Asbestos Management Plan has been developed for the district. This plan details the location of asbestos-containing materials (ACM), inspection findings, response actions, and ongoing monitoring activities. The plan is available for review electronically by request or during regular business hours at the District Office:

Summary of Recent Activities
As required by law, Robbinsdale Area Schools conducts periodic surveillance of all known or assumed ACM every six months, as well as re-inspections every three years by a certified asbestos inspector.
