Apply for Educational Benefits to Support Your Child and Our Schools

Everyday, Rdale offers our students breakfast and lunch for free thanks to Minnesota’s Free School Meals Program.

While this generous program supports your child's nutrition, other cost-saving discounts may be available to you. That’s why we encourage ALL district families to apply for Educational Benefits. (Apply online today. Learn more about Educational Benefits.)

Applying is easy, confidential, and can also unlock discounts for activity fees and other school-related costs.  Income eligibility is higher than you think, so we encourage families to apply even if you don’t think you qualify. Plus: submitting an application may help Rdale qualify for additional federal and state funding for classroom resources, technology, and student services, which directly benefits your child’s education.

If you’re a family that has already applied for Educational Benefits this year, you need not apply again. If your household participates in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Minnesota Family Investment Program (MFIP), Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR), or receives Medicaid, you likely already qualify.
