Cooper's student newspaper ‘The Quill’ earns national honors
Cooper High School's student newspaper, The Quill, has earned two national awards for the nine issues published during the 2023-24 school year.
First, the student publication won an International First Place Award from the Quill and Scroll Society, which is an international high school journalism honor society. To earn the award, The Quill received superior ratings for general practices, coverage, and writing and editing, and an excellent rating for visuals.
In addition, The Quill received a First Class Rating from the National Scholastic Press Association for its work last school year.
