Free early learning classes help bring out the best in little ones

Rdale’s Early Learning programs offer several free and inexpensive ways to help very young children develop. The following are free classes coming up before the end of November.

In Family Gym, caregivers can drop-in anytime to play with their children and explore a variety of activities at the New Hope Learning Center! There is no fee for this activity, in which caregivers stay with their children and are expected to supervise them. Registration is not required. Caregivers and their children, age birth to kindergarten, are welcome.

Fridays, Nov. 8 - Apr. 11 – 9:15-11:15 a.m.

Mondays, Nov. 11 - Apr. 14 – 6-7:30 p.m.

Parent Connections: Infant Sleep is a virtual class for caregivers of children six months to 16 months old. This class is designed to help you understand your infant's sleep behaviors and how to introduce age-appropriate strategies to support healthy sleep.

Thursday, Nov. 7 – 7-8 p.m.

The Joy of Grandparenting is a two-session virtual class. "When a child is born, so are grandparents." Whether you will be, or are grandparenting, near or far, join other grandparents as you prepare for this special role, relationship, and time in your life. We will explore how to support a brand new family, read baby's cues and behaviors, develop ideas for play, and get an update on today's safety practices. There is no fee for this class.

Tuesdays, Nov. 12 and 19 – 6-7:15 p.m.

Register by going to the Eleyo website.
