Marti Voight Named Interim Assistant Superintendent for Robbinsdale Area Schools

Marti Voight has been named Interim Assistant Superintendent for Robbinsdale Area Schools, and began her new duties August 18, 2020.

“Marti Voight is a good fit to continue our progress forward,” said Dr. Stephanie Burrage, Interim Superintendent of Robbinsdale Area Schools. “Her experience in working with students and families with various needs will be invaluable as we work to ensure equity and move forward during this uncertain time,” Dr. Burrage continued.

Ms. Voight has been employed with Robbinsdale Area Schools since 1998. She began her career in the District’s Adventure Club program as a teacher from 1998-2002. She continued teaching from 2002-2012, and served as Director of Special Education from 2016-2018, before serving as Executive Director of Student Services from 2018-2020. She completed requirements for her superintendent's licensure this past July at St. Cloud State University.

Ms. Voight was recognized with the Minnesota School Psychologists Administrator (MSPA) of the Year award in February 2020. The MSPA Administrator Award is designed to identify and recognize principals, supervisors, directors and other administrators who support the field of school psychology.

“I am excited to begin this new role and for the opportunity to continue to serve our students, families and staff as we remain committed to our work of providing equitable services for all,” Ms. Voight said. “I look forward to meeting the needs of our community and supporting our staff,” she continued.
