A reminder to families: face coverings are required for all preK-12 students, staff and visitors over the age of 2 – regardless of vaccination status – while on the school bus, or while indoors at all schools and district facilities.
We are asking families to be especially vigilant in setting a good example for students as we begin to transition into winter. This includes being consistent about properly wearing face coverings in the classroom and in common areas; covering one’s mouth and nose; participating in regular COVID-19 testing; and practicing other important measures such as physical distancing and hand washing.
All district staff are eligible for a COVID vaccine, whether it be first or second doses, or boosters. Staff can receive a Pfizer vaccine or booster at the evening Wednesday, Nov. 17 mini-clinic the district is hosting (learn more, including follow-up clinic information), or by visiting the state’s vaccine connector website.
Thank you for your continued partnership and support as we continue to prioritize the safety of our students and staff.
