Meadow Lake's Emma Withers named Teacher of the Year

Emma Withers, K-5 art teacher at Meadow Lake Elementary School, was named 2024 Teacher of the Year by Robbinsdale Federation of Teachers at the annual award event on Thursday, May 30, at Cooper High School.

Ms. Withers was one of five nominees for the honor. The others were 

*Sophie Bigelow - Plymouth Middle School- School Counselor, introduced by her child Charlie Bigelow

*Gretchen Enselein-Kraemer - Cooper High School - Reading Interventionist, introduced by her mom Kathy Enselein 

*Sonja Jacobsen - Meadow Lake Elementary - Voluntary Pre Kindergarten, introduced by her VPK EA Jane Wickland 

*Mary Seiffert - Robbinsdale Spanish Immersion - 2nd grade, introduced by her friend and colleague Sonia Tuduri
