Public notice: Robbinsdale Community Education applying for Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Learning Centers grants
Dear community members of Robbinsdale Area Schools,
Robbinsdale Community Education is applying for Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Learning Centers (21CCLC) grants for Northport Elementary School, Sandburg Middle School, Robbinsdale Middle School, Robbinsdale Academy-Highview, and Cooper High School.
The 21CCLC is a competitive grant program, which provides opportunities for communities to establish or expand community learning centers. The centers primarily provide after-school and summer services to public and nonpublic school children who need additional educational help and who live in Title I public school attendance areas. Services must be provided through school and community partnerships and include academic enrichment, a broad array of additional youth development activities, and opportunities for family literacy and related educational programs.
If you are interested in learning more about the 21CCLC application that could potentially serve your eligible students and parents for the next three years, please contact Robbinsdale Community Education at robbinsdaleareacommunityed@rdale.org. A copy of the 21CCLC application will be made available on the district website after May 1, 2023.
Sincerely,
Anthony Williams
