Rdale Summer Programming Roundup

Robbinsdale Area Schools (Rdale) is the perfect summertime place for your student to unplug, have fun, and socialize with friends. 

Featuring small class sizes and no tests or worksheets, the district has a variety of summer camp-like programs that we think will spark your student's curiosity while also allowing them to play games, get outside, and hang with friends.

From kindergarten to high school seniors, there's something for everyone this summer, though registration deadlines vary:

Camp-like summer programs:

• Summer Academic Program for grades K-5 and grades 6-8
  • Elementary Summer Academic Programs
  • Middle school Summer Academic Programs
• CDF Freedom School for grades K-8

High School:

• High school credit recovery at Cooper High School
  • Monday-Thursday, 8:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., June 9-26, 2025
  • Free program includes breakfast, lunch, and transportation for those who live within district boundaries

Fee-based summertime childcare:

• Adventure Club (grades K-5)
• The Basement (grades 6-8)

Community Education:

• Summer Explorers: Summer Camp with weekly themes for students entering grades K-5
• Super Summer Explorers: STEAM Camps for students entering grades 3-9
• Enrichment Classes: Weekend and evening classes
• Driver's Ed: Held at CHS for students entering grades 9-12
