Our summer programming helps students recharge, have fun, and spend time with friends. From kindergarten to high school, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
Summer Academic Program for grades K-5 and grades 6-8
With small class sizes and no tests, students will continue to learn and brush up on skills through games and activities while spending time outdoors.
American Indian and Traditional Freedom Schools for grades K-8
CDF Freedom Schools is a fun summer program that strengthens student literacy through culturally responsive activities and reading.
College and Career Now! for grades 9-12
In partnership with Hennepin Technical College and Minneapolis Community and Technical College, College and Career Now! provides students an opportunity to take college courses and earn both high school and college credits for free over the summer.
