Scholarship opportunity available to Rdale seniors

Students are invited to apply for the Lavon H. Cooper Scholarship offered by the New Hope Women of Today Organization. Scholarships awarded range between $300 and $1,000.

To qualify, students must:

• Currently be a high school senior or a graduate of the Rdale school district
• Have maintained a G.P.A. of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent)

The application deadline is Monday, April 1, 2024. All applications must be postmarked by that date.

Please note: An applicant can apply as a high school senior and/or graduate but cannot receive any scholarship money until they have completed at least one semester and registered for a second semester, or two consecutive trimesters and registered for a third trimester, whichever is applicable, of post-secondary school education. 

Students who have previously received this scholarship are eligible to apply again two years from when their application was submitted.
