School Board Seeking Applicants for Financial Advisory Council

The School Board of Robbinsdale Area Schools is seeking applicants for the Financial Advisory Council (FAC). There are currently three open seats for three-year terms.   

The purpose of the FAC is to provide financial advice and support to the School Board and Administration, including evaluation of the district's economic conditions, development of future budgets, and review of the overall fiscal condition of the district. The FAC generally meets on a quarterly basis. More information can be found on the district website at rdale.org/community/committees-volunteer-opportunities.

Preferred qualifications for applicants include a strong background in finance, economics, and/or accounting, along with experience in school finance and/or business and financial matters. Applicants must also declare no conflicts of interest.

All applications must be received by Thursday, July 21, 2022. The Board will appoint selected candidates at the Board meeting on Monday, Aug. 1, 2022.
