STEAM Middle School Program Starting Next School Year

On Monday, April 19, the School Board approved a plan to launch a new STEAM middle school program at FAIR School Crystal beginning in the fall of the 2021-2022 academic year. The program will feature STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and math) programming.
The new middle school program will start with sixth grade only, and then expand each year to a new grade level as the cohorts advance a grade. When it launches, the new middle school program will be the primary STEAM pathway for fifth-grade students who move to middle school from SEA Elementary School.
It’s important to note that the new STEAM program will not change the current fine arts programming available to students at FAIR School Crystal.
