Support for students

Robbinsdale Area Schools prohibits harassment, violence, discrimination and bullying in all forms, including on the basis of a person’s actual or perceived race, color, creed, religion, national origin, sex/gender (including harassment based on gender identity and expression), marital status, disability, status with regard to public assistance, sexual orientation, age, family care leave status or veteran status.

If you or someone you know has experienced harassment, violence, discrimination or bullying at school or at any school-related event for any reason, you may request the incident(s) investigated by the District.

The most effective strategies for crisis prevention include ways to keep students engaged and in class. Schools utilize Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), a research-based framework of school-wide interventions designed to keep students in class.  

The district has created an implementation plan that provides opportunity for sharing ideas, strategies and solutions, and a common language for every staff member.  In addition, the district-wide implementation helps schools be intentional about helping students learn expectations and positive behaviors, which in turn increases student engagement, responsibility and a sense of belonging.
